▪ Is SongFest an outdoor festival? Nope. SongFest is an small-but-roomy, boutique, indoor festival. No need to bring your wellies or bumbershoot. | ||
▪ Is there parking at SongFest? Yes, there is plenty of free parking available at the SongFest site - the Draycote Hotel | ||
▪ Are there on-site accommodations available at SongFest? Yes. However, please note, on-site accommodations in the Draycote Hotel are limited, and must be booked direct with hotel reservations on 01788 521800. IMPORTANT NOTE: You must say you are attending 'SongFest' to receive the 'SongFest' room prices, when booking your SongFest tickets. Rooms: £108 (single occupancy / w/ breakfast for one); £118 (double occupancy / w/ breakfast for two). | ||
▪ Are there off-site accommodations available near SongFest? Yes. If you prefer off-site accommodations, or if on-site accommodations are fully booked, plenty of nearby accommodations can be found via a simple GoogleMap 'Nearby Hotel' search. Here are a few hotels within a few miles of the Draycote Hotel including: Travelodge Rugby Dunchurch (0.7 miles); Brandon Hall Hotel & Spa (7.5 miles); Premier Inn Coventry South (8.9 miles). | ||
▪ Is camping or glamping allowed on-site at SongFest? Nope. There are currently no camping facilities on-site at SongFest. However, there are camping and caravan sites within a few miles of SongFest. Here are a few camping sites in proximity to SongFest: Eriba Glade Touring Caravan Park (3 miles); Lairhillock Park (5.9 miles) | ||
▪ Is food and beverage available on-site? There will be limited ala carte food available during the day, in the Three Cooks Restaurante & Bar; however, please note: we have scheduled a 'Dinner Intermission', from 6:00pm to 7:00pm, and all festival-attendees are strongly encouraged to pre-order their dinner intermission meal vouchers, in advance, in order to assure timely turn-around between performances. Meal Vouchers can be ordered as an add-on item 'option', towards the end of the SongFest ticket-order process. ORDER HERE | ||
SONGWRITING MASTERCLASS [2 sessions: Saturday 1:00pm to 2:30pm & Sunday 1:00pm to 2:30pm; class size is limited to 10, to allow participants to share a song, if they choose to.] | ||
▪ Do you need to be an experienced songwriter to attend the 'Songwriting Masterclass'? Nope. All levels, from beginner to pro, are welcome and encouraged to attend. Sign up for the 'Songwriting Masterclass is available as an add-on item 'option', towards the end of the SongFest ticket-order process. ORDER HERE | ||
▪ Do you need to be able to play an instrument to attend the 'Songwriting Masterclass'? Again, no. Just ask Elton's songwriting collaborator, Bernie Taupin. No musical experience is required and poets and lyricists, aspiring beginners or hardworking professionals, are more than welcome. | ||
▪ Is it possible to audit the 'Songwriting Masterclass' as a non-participating observer? Yes! Non-Participanting 'Observers' may audit the classes, but they will not be asked to perform their work for 'instructor feedback'. Non-Participating Observers can order tickets as an add-on item 'option', towards the end of the SongFest ticket-order process. ORDER HERE |
